Chair, Board of Trustees — RespectED
About: RespectED is a registered charity in England and Wales dedicated to advancing education by providing sex and relationship education to children and young people in secondary schools across Poole, Bournemouth and the wider region.
My role: As Chair of the Board of Trustees I provide strategic leadership, support governance, and ensure that the charity’s activities align with its mission to improve education and wellbeing for young people. RespectED operates on a not-for-profit basis with a governance focus on safeguarding and volunteer engagement.
Governor — Linwood School Governing Board
About: Linwood School is a large special school (ages 2–19) serving children and young people with a wide range of SEND. The Governing Board oversees vision, educational performance and effective resourcing.
My role: As a Co-opted Governor I contribute expertise in digital strategy, health & safety and cyber security, supporting the school’s mission to provide outstanding personalised education and wellbeing support.
Trustee — St. Swithun’s, Bournemouth
About: St. Swithun’s is an Anglican church and registered charity focused on community transformation and the prevention or relief of poverty through outreach and volunteer programmes.
My role: As a Trustee I help guide strategic direction, financial stewardship and community-impact work across the Bournemouth area.
